It's hard to believe Fall is here already. The crisp air, picturesque landscapes, and the promise of cozy evenings by the fireplace make this time of year truly magical. As we embrace the beauty of autumn in Vermont, I am proud to share some exciting updates from Waitsfield and Champlain Valley Telecom. One of our key commitments has always been to provide you with the best in telecommunications services. I wanted to once again let you know that we continue to make remarkable progress on our fiber-optic buildouts. Our team has been working hard, continuing to expand our fiber network, ensuring that you have access to lightning-fast internet. This investment in our infrastructure is a testament to our unwavering commitment to serving the communities we serve. Building fiber to everyone will take time and won't happen overnight, but every day, we are making progress. Please know that every single dollar we invest in fiber is benefiting Vermont and the local communities we serve. To stay up-to-date on fiber projects and availability please visit getfiber.wcvt.com and register your address. The "Fiber Build Areas" link has our build areas broken out by status, which may be helpful to you. I'd also like to take a moment to express our gratitude to everyone who stopped by and visited us at the recent Bristol Harvest Festival and we hope to see you at the Vermont Business Expo. It was wonderful connecting with you and sharing our vision for a connected future. Thank you for choosing Waitsfield and Champlain Valley Telecom as your trusted telecom partner. We are excited about the possibilities that lie ahead and are committed to keeping you informed about our progress and innovations in the months to come. Wishing you a wonderful fall season in Vermont! Is Your Internet "Dropping?" Are You Having Buffering on Your SmartTV? In Many Cases, It's Not Your Internet Connection at All... Might Be Time To Upgrade Your Wi-Fi These days, we are all relying on our internet connections more than ever before. We are using it for more mission critical applications as well as more bandwidth intensive uses such as streaming video and other real-time video services like Zoom. We often get calls from customers complaining about "slow speeds," "drops," or "buffering," among other things. The first thing we do is check the internet connection and, in many cases, we find no issues. So, what could it be? Up to 60% of our calls these days are Wi-Fi related and this may just be the case. The good news is we have some great solutions. Our Whole Home Wi-Fi uses multiple Access Points placed at strategic locations around your home to expand coverage, eliminating dead spots, and providing great performance for all of your streaming devices. Stop Dealing with Dead Spots - Learn More Today! Visit our website to learn more about our Whole Home Wi-Fi or Business Wi-Fi solutions. You can also give us a call at 800-496-3391 or send us an email and we'd be happy to discuss our solutions with you. |
