Fiber install
Happy Spring! The end of mud season also signals the construction season in Vermont! I'm happy to provide you with an update on our 2024 fiber construction projects. Our employees and contractors are busy working on capital construction projects throughout our service area. If you are included in one of our fiber build areas scheduled for this year, we will be reaching out to let you know that fiber is coming to your location as our construction progresses. In areas where we have completed mainline construction, our contractor crews are focused on pre-running fiber-optic drops to homes prior to us scheduling your fiber conversion.

These are large projects that have many moving parts and pieces. While we can't reach everyone overnight, please know that every single dollar we invest in fiber is benefiting Vermont and the local communities we serve. Building fiber to everyone is going to take time, but each and every day, we are making progress and we appreciate your patience as we continue to make progress.

To help keep you updated on our fiber projects and availability please visit and register your address. The Fiber Build Areas link has our build areas mapped and broken out by status which may be helpful to you.

Affordable Connectivity Program

Important Information for Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) Participants

The FCC has announced the conclusion of the ACP due to Congress not renewing its funding. If you were benefiting from the ACP, it is crucial for you to be aware of the following:
  • The last monthly bill to include ACP benefit was your April invoice.
  • Loss of ACP credit will increase broadband internet service by $30.00 starting with your May invoice.
  • Please note, your service will remain at the existing service level at the full undiscounted price when the ACP credit is no longer available.
  • To offset the increase in your bill, you may adjust your internet service to a lower cost plan. You may also check your eligibility for other federal low-income plans or opt out of the service at the end of the ACP funding.
  • For additional information regarding the ACP, please go to:FCC Affordable Connectivity Program Wind-Down.
Please visit our website for information on ouravailable broadband options. You may also contact our Customer Service Department at 802-496-3391 with any questions, discuss service option plans, or to terminate your service.
