Happy Spring! The end of mud season also signals the construction season in Vermont! I'm happy to provide you with an update on our 2024 fiber construction projects. Our employees and contractors are busy working on capital construction projects throughout our service area. If you are included in one of our fiber build areas scheduled for this year, we will be reaching out to let you know that fiber is coming to your location as our construction progresses. In areas where we have completed mainline construction, our contractor crews are focused on pre-running fiber-optic drops to homes prior to us scheduling your fiber conversion. These are large projects that have many moving parts and pieces. While we can't reach everyone overnight, please know that every single dollar we invest in fiber is benefiting Vermont and the local communities we serve. Building fiber to everyone is going to take time, but each and every day, we are making progress and we appreciate your patience as we continue to make progress. To help keep you updated on our fiber projects and availability please visit getfiber.wcvt.com and register your address. The Fiber Build Areas link has our build areas mapped and broken out by status which may be helpful to you. Sincerely, Eric Haskin President and CEO Waitsfield and Champlain Valley Telecom
