Hope you are all enjoying the start of summer and are able to get out and enjoy all the great things Vermont has to offer. Summer is always a busy time here at WCVT and our employees and contractors are busy taking advantage of our limited construction season. We are actively working on construction projects throughout our service area and continue to make progress converting customers to our fiber-to-the-home service.

Over the next few years, we are investing approximately $45 million dollars in extending fiber-to-the-home to the communities we serve. Building fiber to everyone will take time, but each and every day, we are making progress. Please know that every single dollar we invest in fiber is benefiting Vermont and the local communities we serve. These are big capital construction projects with many moving parts.

Building fiber-optic networks are expensive, and every bit of grant money can help accelerate these projects and help bend the economics of building fiber in rural, high-cost areas. We appreciate your continued support and thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to evolve our network.

To stay up-to-date on fiber projects and availability please visit getfiber.wcvt.com and register your address. The "Service Area" link has our build areas broken out by status, which may be helpful to you. To date, we've converted more than 8,200 customers to fiber-optics and that number continues to grow.

Just a reminder that in addition to our technicians, you may see our contractors working in your area. We use the following contractors for field collection, engineering, line construction and buried service work: Eustis Cable Enterprises, JA McDonald, JSI, and Menard and Sons.

Sincerely,

Eric Haskin

As you probably already know, we recently upgraded our billing system. You will notice a new look and feel for your monthly billing statement as well as a new online payment system. With our new system, we now have the ability to offer our customers more control over their account, better communication and efficiencies in our billing processes. We are most excited by SmartHub, our new online account management tool. With SmartHub, you can manage your account, view and pay your bill, report service issues, receive customized alerts and more.

Important Information:
  • For a detailed explanation of your bill, visit our Understanding Your Bill page.
  • If you paid your account with a credit/debit card or if you were enrolled in Auto Pay, you must create a new account in SmartHub and re-enroll in Auto Pay. Due to security parameters we are not able to transfer credit or debit card information from the old system to the new system.
