2016 Rio Olympic Games Coverage
The networks and digital platforms of NBCUniversal will present an unprecedented 6,755 hours of programming for the Games of the XXXI Olympiad from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, this August. The Opening Ceremony of the 2016 Rio Olympics will air on Friday, August 5 and games will conclude with the Closing Ceremony on Sunday, August 21.

Live Streaming Coverage on NBC Sports Live Extra
Waitsfield Cable Standard and Preferred customers will have FREE access to all digital Olympic coverage including live streaming and full replays of events. Subscribers must first register for access at www.watchtveverywhere.com (must have Waitsfield Cable Account Number during the registration process). Once account is activated, subscribers will then be able to log on to the www.nbcolympics.com website to view hundreds of hours of Olympic highlights, athlete interviews and feature stories.

Television Coverage
With Rio just one hour ahead of the Eastern Time zone, the 2016 Summer Games will be the most live Olympics ever. NBCU will present 2,084 hours of Olympic programming across the following networks.
