WCVT's Commitment To You

Eric

We hope that this email finds you and your family safe. As a local Vermont, family owned business we take the health and safety of our employees, our customers and our communities very seriously and we understand how important your telecommunications services are to you and your family during these unprecedented times.

We also understand the critical role we play in connecting all of you as the utilization of our services has increased significantly as we have all transitioned to working and learning from home. As a service provider, we take the obligation to serve you seriously and we will do our best to keep everyone connected.

To mitigate the spread of COVID-19, we are taking the following precautions to limit our interaction with our customers to keep our employees and our customers safe.
  • On March 17, 2020, we closed our business offices to customer access until further notice. Our Customer Service and Technical Support staff will still be available by phone, email, and online chat. Please remember that you can always pay your bill online by choosing My Account.
  • We are currently limiting on-site service/trouble visits and restricting inside access for our technicians safety. If you are experiencing a service outage, we will work with you prior to the visit in order to ensure the safety of you and our technician.
  • All fiber-to-the-home conversions that are currently scheduled for the next few weeks will be cancelled and will be rescheduled in the future.
  • All Whole Home Wi-Fi installations scheduled in the next few weeks will be cancelled and rescheduled for a future date.
As you know, this is a fluid situation and we are constantly monitoring the recommendations by the CDC, the Vermont Dept. of Health and others. Our first responsibility is to keep our employees safe and our customers safe.

Please know that all of us at Waitsfield and Champlain Valley Telecom are here for you. Thank you for your patience and we will get through this together. Be safe!

Sincerely,

Eric Haskin,
President and CEO
Waitsfield and Champlain Valley Telecom
